Benchmarking its business systems and management
processes and employing world-class and certified
manpower has become a priority for the rapidly
advancing Egyptian BPO industry. The Egyptian
government has taken several initiatives to enable
domestic BPO companies become internationally
competitive. Many Egyptian outsourcing and BPO
companies have begun improving their management
structures and systems and are giving a great
attention to employing quality manpower.
One of Egypt’s leading healthcare BPO’s, the
Cairo-headquartered AITS (Allied Information
Technology Services) has taken three steps that are
expected to have far-reaching impacts on the
Egyptian BPO industry. It is in the process of
getting the prestigious BSDQ14 and BTMQ10
certifications by the BPO Certifications Institute,
Inc., the Texas-based BPO competence credentialing
giant. “With these BCI Certifications in our
company, we not only expect an impressive
improvement in our productivity and quality, we also
hope to inspire and encourage our international
clients to outsource more business to us” says Dr.
Mohammed Reda, the Chairman of AITS.
In addition, talks between BCI and Allied Soft (AITS
Group’s Flagship Company) are on to find out the
possibilities of making available BSDQ Service
Delivery Standards and the BTMQ Talent Management
Quality Standards to the Egyptian African BPO
Industry. This will pave the way for hundreds of
Egyptian BPO services organizations to benchmark
their service delivery and Talent management
processes to global standards for the first time.
“BCI is extremely serious about contributing to the
development of the business capabilities of BPO
companies in the entire African Region, and we feel
our Enterprise Standards and Human Competence
Standards will help the African BPO industry
catch-up with the most advanced BPO industries of
Asia and Eastern Europe”, says Mr. Rajiv Gupta, the
President & Business Head of BCI, who is in Egypt
these days.
In addition to these Enterprise-level
Certifications, BCI is also contemplating offering
its 3 BPO Professional Certifications to Egyptian
and African aspiring BPO Professionals. Though still
in the initial stages, both, BCI and Allied Soft are
considering creating a collaboration platform in
which, Allied Soft would establish world-class BPO
training facilities under license from BCI and BCI
would provide its Certification services.
Remarkably, BCI Certification programs are available
in more than 240 cities across the world in
countries like India, China, Philippines,
Bangladesh, Mauritius, UAE, Madagascar and Kenya.
