Allied Soft joined the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and 12 leading IT Egyptian companies’ delegation to the CeBIT 2007, the world's largest trade fair for digital IT that took place in Hannover, Germany in March 2007. The Fair presented a great opportunity for Allied Soft to showcase its cutting-edge services in the four verticals of healthcare, security, education, and e-government. During the Fair, Allied was able to secure successful meetings with more than 25 firms from different countries who were interested to partner and invest in Egypt. Allied’s participation at the CeBit also resulted in a high-profile agreement with a prominent German firm, InterComponentWare (ICW). ICW is a Walldorf-based company featuring state-of-the-art personal health record, LifeSensor on a web-based platform.
“I am delighted to be working with ICW,” stated Dr. Amr Elsadr, Allied Soft Healthcare Services Director. “LifeSensor will enable us to provide an integrated health care system, combining all of the essential elements of the supply chain and allowing patients and healthcare workers access to extensive information.”
The signing of the agreement took place at the “Egyptian Night” celebration, where both parties met in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Tarek Kamel, a full corps of press and guests invited to attend the festivities from around the world.
