His Excellency President Mubarak recently attended a business gathering that brought together some of Egypt’s leading representatives of public and private sector firms in the fields of communications and information technology. Held at the country’s state-of-the-art Smart Village in August, the pioneers gave an overview of their businesses showcasing their achievements, particularly in exporting. Dr. Amr Elsadr, Allied Soft Healthcare Services Director, represented the company at the prestigious event, conducting a presentation on Allied Soft’s growth in terms of the number of employees and yearly revenues. The presentation also demonstrated Allied’s impressive achievements in business and knowledge process outsourcing in the healthcare vertical, and how these services has become a critical means to serve healthcare providers in the United States. “Business process outsourcing services, while providing jobs and valuable experience for a vast number of young Egyptian healthcare professionals, also offer Allied a niche in one of the world’s fast growing industries,” stated Dr. Elsadr. “We wish to provide these services soon in Egypt as this will allow healthcare providers to run their facilities more efficiently, from both clinical and administrative perspectives, abide by international best practices, as well as deliver improved healthcare quality to Egyptian patients.”
To answer President Mubarak’s inquiry about his professional background, Dr. Alsadr explained that he is a medical doctor adding that more than 650 healthcare professionals whether medical doctors, dentists or pharmacists have been trained and are currently employed at Allied Soft. “Almost 650 of our 2500 employees are doctors and pharmacists,” reiterated Dr. Elsadr. “We hope to double this number by 2011 to have at least 2000 healthcare professionals.”
This event is yet another indicator of the company’s continuous efforts in creating awareness and promoting on its cutting-edge services among the Egyptian community.
