Among Allied Soft various activity, the company has recently been part of the International Youth Forum that took place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, through September 1-3. Held under the auspices of Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, Head of the Suzanne Mubarak Women's International Peace Movement, the three-day Forum brought together over 800 young participants who were willing to share their experience, express their aspirations and promote peace as a common vision. In regards to Allied Soft solid experience in the field of information technology, Dr. Amr Elsadr, Allied Soft Healthcare Services Director, spoke at a panel discussing the theme “ICT for Peace” among the various themes addressed at the Forum, covering the topic “Global Citizens in a Connected World.” Allied’s pioneering representative discussed the emerging business process outsourcing and its contribution to the growth of the IT arena. “Offshore outsourcing to Egypt has resulted in exposure of young Egyptians to staff members of clients as well as business partners all over the world,” explained Dr. Elsadr, “which in turn has led to breaking down cultural barriers as well as unfortunate misconceptions of what people from other sides of the globe think of each other.”
Dr. Elsadr went on to explain how business dealings built on common interests between Allied’s staff members, especially between those working in the healthcare services and staff members of client healthcare providing facilities, patients, and business partners; have gone so far as do develop into personal friendships.
“Humane sentiments such as these happen all the time, and I see it everyday with the people I work with,” added Dr. Elsadr. “This is a direct reaction to our young professionals having one-on-one exposure and interaction to doctors, patients, and associates of ours in countries like the United States and Europe, and how we all work together to help increase the level of healthcare around the world.”
The inspiring session also featured prominent speakers including Najat Rochdi, Regional Coordinator, ICTDAR, Nadine Tawil, General Director, Outsourcing Operations, Videotron, and Salma Abassi, Chairperson & Founder of e World wide Group.
