The solution is called the IT portal and is based on knowledge of IT security and control of IT costs at AB Volvo. The IT portal was launched in Sweden at the start of 2003. Allied Soft is the only company allowed to sell the IT portal on the Egyptian, Arab and African markets.

The technical solution is built on thin clients. Only the software required will be installed on the schools' computers for students, teachers and parents to log into a virtual IT environment. All other software and data are available on central servers at Volvo IT, which is responsible for administration and technical support. Allied Soft will be responsible on implementation and local support.

This model is Education Service Provider model , and its second stage will be covering other areas of vocational and technical education sectors.
Data communication, hardware and access to teaching tools are also part of the solution. Clients pay a monthly fixed price per user.
